Volm Companies was started in 1954 as a small general store in Northern Wisconsin. Over the years, they have become the nationwide leader for fresh produce packaging and the automated equipment used in those operations. Volm came to Idaho in the late 1980’s, and in 1999 Yellowstone Plastics was established. Yellowstone Plastics manufactures the flexible packaging currently found for potatoes, onions, bread, and many lawn-and-garden customers. With over 550 employees through the United States and Canada, Volm is proud to be part of the Idaho Falls community.
EIRMC is the largest medical center in the region, and iss home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (of only two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. Additionally, EIRMC has the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children.
