The WBA is excited to offer the One Day Holiday Clinic over the December winter break.  The One Day Clinic will be led by WBA Coaches Marcus Cox (WBA 6Gold) and Ty Staples-Santos (WBA 5Gold). Each clinic/camp will be limited to 18 participants and will focus on specific high-level skills to aid gameplay. 

• The one-day clinic will be held on Monday, December 23, and will focus on ball handling.

Coaches Marcus and Ty have an innovative system they use to teach some of the best young players in the state.  Coach Marcus graduated from high school as one of the top-ranked players in the nation and went on to play collegiately at UConn and UMass.  Coach Ty is a gifted teacher of the game who, among many other achievements, has trained his own son to become one of the top-ranked 10^th grade players in CT.  Their methods are unique, well thought out, and effective!  For those willing to work on their game over the holidays, be prepared for their brand of very intense basketball training.

The WBA is excited to offer the Holiday Camp led by WBA Coaches Marcus Cox (WBA 6Gold) and Ty Staples-Santos (WBA 5Gold). Each clinic/camp will be limited to 18 participants and will focus on specific high-level skills to aid gameplay. 

The 3 day camp (from Thursday, December 26 until Saturday, December 28) will include specialized ball handling drills (including how to dribble the ball up against pressure) shooting drills (including how to get your shot off against an active defender), situational gameplay, NBA combine type workouts, and more.

WBA 3rd Grade Basketball Development Program

• January through March
• Focus on gameplay with intra-squad scrimmages and games against other towns
• Open to boys and girls, but will be playing boys teams from other towns
• 1 practice on Friday between 5:30-7:30 pm (2 sessions) and 1 practice on Saturday (excluding MLK and Presidents Day weekends) between 8:30 am-12 pm (exact time TBD). (Girls will go to the first session so there will be no overlap with Park and Rec program)
• Games will be scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday (still TBD)
• Supplement to Weston Parks and Rec program - all participants MUST also play in the Rec program
• Cost is $229
