Welcome to Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club.
Here is a quick summary about the Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club:
ASB Club Sport: As a club sport at RHS, the Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club is funded and managed by RHS LAX families and supporters. Any Roosevelt boy or private high school player who lives in the Roosevelt attendance area and is interested in playing lacrosse is welcome and can expect to play for the club. We anticipate fielding both a Varsity and a JV squad.
Management by Volunteers: Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse is run completely by you: the families, friends and players. All communication is conducted through this web site and League Athletics. Please make sure to visit this site to receive information about practices, games, events, volunteer needs and all relevant club information.
Winter Schedule: The team plays an abrevated winter season typically comprised of 9 practices in November followed by a tournament in early December.
Spring Sport: Captains practices are expected to start mid-January. Official practices will start late February and run through late May. The 1.5 - 2 hour practices are Monday – Friday (some Saturdays) and will likely be at Roosevelt High School as well as a few other locations (TBD). Most home games will be played at Roosevelt High School.
League Assignment: RHS LAX is playing in the Metro Public League. The Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association (WHSBLA) is the governing organization. Our in-league competitors include: Ballard, Lincoln, Bainbridge, Franklin-Garfield, Nathan Hale and West Seattle.
Refund Policy: All registrations are Final Sales. No Refunds will be given after player is registered.
