PLAYER REGISTRATIONS

Welcome to MRA soccer's Spring 2021 Registration page. This page contains registration links for the following:

- Recreational Soccer (Mariemont, Fairfax. and Terrace Park- Ages between 1/1/02 and 12/31/14)

- Instructional Soccer (Mariemont, Fairfax , and Terrace Park- Ages between 1/1/15 and 6/1/17)

- Coach Registration (Age 18+)

Please note that this registration is open for all Mariemont, Fairfax, and Terrace Park children.

Priority Registration opens January 1, 2021 and will close February 15, 2021 If you register after February 15th a $25 late registration fee will be applied to each registration and your child may be placed on a waitlist. Registration will close March 1st, 2021. No more registrations will be accepted after that date

We will begin building and rostering teams and ordering uniforms after registration closes. Practices will start the 3rd week of March with games starting the weekend of April 10th and ending the weekend of May 22nd. Please check back later for updates on dates and schedules.

Spring 2021 Recreational Soccer

The Spring 2021 Mariemont Recreational Soccer program is open to children born between 1/1/2002 and 12/31/2014 who live in the Mariemont school district. Please note that we use age rather than school grade to determine participation. Our age brackets are as follows:

The soccer program is a recreational soccer program, meaning that teams are open to anyone who wishes to play. There are no try-outs or cuts in Recreational Soccer.

MRA participates in the SAY Soccer Program. The Contacts page on this web site provides contact information for the MRA Board and the Committee members for Mariemont Recreational Soccer.

The objectives of the Mariemont Recreational Soccer Program are:

Have fun! - We strive to make the experience of playing soccer FUN for the players.
Fundamentals - We teach the fundamentals of soccer so that players are prepared to meet the physical demands of the sport and to play the game in a safe manner.
Fair Play - We teach respect for the game and for all participants - coaches, teammates, referees, and opposing players.

Spring 2021 Instructional Soccer

The Instructional Soccer program is designed to be the Youth Player's first experience with soccer.

In the Spring, the program is sponsored by the Mariemont Recreational Soccer Program and is held on Saturday mornings for six or seven weeks at the Mariemont Elementary Fields. The program is open to four and five year old Boys and Girls who live in the Mariemont School District, including Mariemont, Fairfax and Terrace Park. The program will start the first Saturday in April.

Each session lasts about one hour and consists of a group warm-up activity for about 30 minutes followed by a small sided game (usually 3v3 or 4v4) against players of similar ages. There are no "official games" scheduled against surrounding communities and no scores or standings are kept.

Coach Registration/ Background Check

All coaches must register on our website prior to being assigned to a team. It is MRA's policy to conduct an annual background check for each coach.
