Saugus Lynnfield Youth Hockey is excited to announce an Open Skate/Info Session for a Girls U10 team that will play in the Middlesex Yankee Conference Girls Hockey League in the 2023-24 season. 

5:30PM on Wednesday, April 5^th at Kasabuski Arena in Saugus.

The team will be coached by Ryan Ferguson and George Brooks and will play a 20-25 game schedule next season.  

Players do not need to be full-time players of Saugus Lynnfield Youth Hockey to participate.  However, there are limited spots available for non-Saugus or Lynnfield residents.

Boys & Girls 2023-24 Mini-Mite Registration

Our Mite Development program is a great way for any boy or girl to get started in competitive hockey.  Also referred to as Mini-Mites, the program provides skating and hockey skills development from Saugus/Lynnfield Youth Hockey coaches along with a weekly game in Stoneham Youth Hockey’s I-Mite league.  In addition, this season players are invited to attend weekly skills sessions run by Driscoll Skating & Skills beginning in mid-September. 

Team practices will start in mid-September, with games beginning in early October.  The first half the season the games are cross-ice and then in January they switch to half-ice.  The games are played every Sunday morning at either 7AM or 8AM in Stoneham or Saugus, and are two 25min halves of 4v4 play with goalies.  Every player will be required to try goalie at least once and we provide the equipment.  The players change shifts every 2-mins to provide equal playing time.  Score and standings are not kept (but the kids will know!).

1. Players are expected to be able to skate and we recommend at least a year in a Learn-To-Play program.
2. All players must be properly registered and wear the appropriate protective equipment.
3. Mini-Mites tuition includes 1 practice per week plus 1 game and optional Skills session.
4. All tuition and fees are non-refundable.

VHL Spring Hockey registration for Mites-Pee Wee.  

Teams will play a 10-11 game schedule in either Hockeytown or Malden beginning in late April and ending on June 25th.  Games are typically either weekday evenings or weekends.

There is no formal practice schedule, but teams will run a few over the course of the season.

Players must be current player with Saugus-Lynnfield Youth Hockey in order to participate.  Players will be able to wear their current Stars game jerseys.

Teams will be finalized in early April.
