This registration is for boys and girls ages 5-years-old to entering Kindergaren in the fall. Exceptions are made for 4-year-olds with foundational skills already built.

Thank you for volunteering to coach with BAA this spring/summer. Your dedication to coaching the youth is essential to the BAA Program.

Coaching for any youth sport does require some patience, a heart for kids, a positive attitude, and a willingness to have FUN!

BAA is required to have every coach and assistant coach to complete the following:

1.  Review and acknowledge the BAA Child & Youth Prevention Program.  You will acknowledge this while completing this registration.

2. You must acknowledge the Non-Disclosure policy and the Behavior Policies of BAA. 

3.  You must complete the Concussion Training and upload your completion certificate in this program registration. If you have questions on uploading the completed training contact, Stephanie.

Complete Concussion Training online. If you have completed another concussion course within the past 12 months please send me the certificate of completion and I will verify if we can take that training.

a. You will first need to complete an account with the CDC Train (click here instructions) 

b. You will need to take the course at https://www.train.org/cdctrain/course/1089818/  You will click the Pre-Assessment to start the training. If you are missing information when registering for your training it will not let you proceed. Check the upper right section of your screen and see if you have notifications to complete before it will let you start the course. 

c. Once the course is done, please email me the PDF of your certificate at admin@baaonline.org or uploaded in the coaching registration.

This must be done every year.  If your training is not complete you will not be allowed to coach.

4.  A background check must be completed. A couple of days after we have been authorized for a season to begin you will receive an email from support@securesearchpro.com with a link to complete a background check authorization. 

Once those items have been completed you will be assigned to a team and given coach/assistant coach access to their team.

BAA Instructional Baseball Registration 

The Instructional level is for kids in Kindergarten - 1st grades at the time of registration.  Note that 1st graders may choose to play Instructional or Mite level based on their ability. First graders new to the game are encouraged to play at the Instructional level.

• Instructionals play weeknights on either Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday. 
• The Instructional league has 6 innings of coach pitch. No standings are recorded.

This registration is for kids in grade 3 during the 2020-2021 school year.

• Games are played onTuesday / Thursday with a few weekend games. 
• The Cubs league has 3 innings of coach pitch followed by 3 innings of player pitch. Standings are recorded and a season-ending tournament is played.
• Program Fee is $130 and it can be paid online or mailed to our treasure, details will be in registration confirmation email.

There is a draft at the Cub level so we cannot guarantee friend requests. The only way to guarantee friends get to play with each other is for both parents to coach together. If you do request a friend ensure that the other child recipricates the friend request. We will do our best to fullfil the request.

BAA Juniors Baseball Registration 

This registration is for kids in grade 4th - 5th grades during the 2020-2021 school year.

• Games are played either Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday with a few weekend games.  Note that during the year the teams may play 2 - 3 nights on their opposite night of normal play. For example, kids in the M/W league may play a few games on Tues/Thur and vice versa.
• The Juniors  league is player pitch.
• Program Fee is $130 and it can be paid online or mailed to our treasure, details will be in registration confirmation email.

There is a draft at this level so we cannot guarantee friend requests. The only way to guarantee friends get to play with each other is for both parents to coach together. If you do request a friend ensure that the other child recipricates the friend request. We will do our best to fullfil the request. Do not request more than one friend.

BAA Majors Baseball Registration 

This registration is for kids in grade 9th - 12th grades during the 2020-2021 school year.

• BAA has joinedthe Southeast League Community League.  This is not a traveling league but rather a group of in-house teams like BAA that have joined together to give a wider variety of competition.
• League games are played Sunday / Wednesday. 
• We will also have scrimmages and practices between Bloomington teams on Mondays.
• Games could be in Burnsville, Apple Valley, Savage or Bloomington right now. We anticipate at least 50% of the games to be in Bloomington.
• Practices will be scheduled and will remain in Bloomington.
• A tournament will be held on  July 9 -11
• The Program Fee is $150 and it can be paid online or mailed to our treasure, details will be in the registration confirmation email.
