As a coach of Coral Springs Flag Football Club, exemplary conduct is expected. Coaches will adhere to the following:

  • I will learn the rules of the game and the policies of the league.
  • I will be a positive role model for the children on my team and encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and courtesy, and by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches and officials at every game and practice.
  • I will not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any official, coach, AD or players such as booing, taunting, refusing to shake hands, or using profane language or gestures.
  • I will not encourage any behaviors or practices that would endanger the health and well being of the athletes.
  • I will instruct my team that doing ones best is more important than winning, so that the team will never feel defeated by the outcome of the game or his/her performance.
  • I will never ridicule or yell at a child or other participants for making a mistake or losing a competition.
  • I will promote the emotional and physical well being of the athletes ahead of any personal desire I may have to win.
  • I will respect the officials, AD's and board members and their authority during games and will not confront these and their authority at the game field, and will take time to speak with them at an agreed upon time and place.

I also agree that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned rules and guidelines, I will be subjected to disciplinary action that could include, but is not limited to the following:

  1. Verbal warning by official, AD or any Board member of C.S.F.F.C.
  2. Written warning.
