2021 WINTER GIRLS BEGINNER CLINIC GRADES 3-7

Early Bird Registration Cost: $120 (10/26/2020 - 12/2/2020)

Registration Cost: $140 (12/3/2020 - 12/20/2020)

 ** COVID Restriction at Sports Reality:  Occupants limited to 84 people (includes players, coaches, staff) **

** No parents will be allowed in the building. **

** Blackhawk is working on providing a live stream via Facebook and parents may be able to watch through the side garage doors, weather permitting. **

Program Details:

• Open to girls in grades 3 through 7.
• SATURDAYS beginning January 9, 2021 through February 13, 2021.
• 1 hour, 40 minute sessions between 10:30am and 5:00 pm--specific times TBD.
• Location is Sports Reality Indoor Sports Complex at 8137 Pine Ridge Rd, Mechanicsville.
• US Lacrosse membership is required.

Program Description:

Blackhawk Lacrosse will host an indoor, 6-week clinic designed for beginners. This program is open to girls in grades 3 -7 who have little to no experience in girls’ lacrosse.  Players will learn fundamental stick skills (throwing, catching, scooping, cradling), along with the offensive and defensive skills necessary to build a solid game foundation.  In addition, players will become familiar with girls’ lacrosse rules and how the game is played through modified game situations.  Space is limited, so early registration is recommended!

Requirements:

All players must provide their own girls’ lacrosse stick, eye protection and a molded mouthguard.  Sneakers or indoor turf shoes are recommended.  No cleats.

There is no uniform requirement for this program.  However, the purchase of a Blackhawk reversible mesh pinnie is available as an optional add-on to this registration for an additional $20.

For insurance purposes, all participants must have a current US Lacrosse membership. If you are not a current US Lacrosse member or your membership expires during the season, our website will open a new window bringing you to the US Lacrosse membership website to purchase or renew (membership is good for one year).

• 1 hour, 15minute sessions between 9am and 10:15 am
• Location is Sports Reality Indoor Sports Complex at 8137 Pine Ridge Rd, Mechanicsville.
• US Lacrosse membership is required.

This program is open to boys and girls in grades 3 -7 with all experience levels in the cage.  Players will learn fundamental skills, along with more specifc skills necessary to build a solid game foundation.

All players must provide their own gear unless other arrangements have been made.  Sneakers or indoor turf shoes are recommended.  No cleats.

There is no uniform requirement for this program.
