The Renegades Lacrosse program is for boys and girls in grades K to 8 within the towns of Denville, Rockaway Borough, Rockaway Township, and Wharton.




2020 Renegades Spring Lacrosse - Girls 3rd to 8th

Girls Lacrosse Grades 3-8

Our Primary Goal is to introduce the players and their families to the fastest sport on 2 feet.  We strive to maintain an energetic and competitive atmosphere, while keeping the Fun in Fundamentals.


3rd & 4th Grade: Introduction to the game, basic drills and stick work with modified games.

5th & 6th Grade:  Focus on advancing individual skills, and positions as well as team building concepts with focus on team conditioning.  Full game schedule.

7th & 8th Grade:  Refine skills and techniques and prepare the girls to play in High School.

5/6 and 7/8 Select Teams:  Top players from each grade level must tryout and be selected for these teams.  Players are required to practice and to play on a travel team as well as the Select team if they make the Select program.


Equipment Required:
Women’s Lacrosse Stick, Lacrosse goggles, and a mouth guard.  Cleats are recommended

Season will include practice twice a week, typically Monday and Wednesday evenings running from March-June.  Select team players will also practice on Friday nights and Sunday mornings.  Approximately 12-16 game schedule for the travel teams.  Select Teams will compete in tournament play as well as compete against the top level programs in our area. 

All players will be supplied with a game uniform and a practice pinnie.

2020 Renegades Spring Lacrosse Boys & Girls Clinic

The Renegades Clinic is for:

Girls: Kindergarten through 2nd grade

Boys:  Kindergarten & 1st grade


The purpose of the Clinic is to introduce players to the game of lacrosse by teaching basic skills.  

The Clinic includes instruction on the foundations of lacrosse; proper grip and hold of the stick, passing and catching, cradling and protecting the stick, shooting, and scooping ground balls through activities and games.

The Clinic runs from late April until early June for approximately six weeks.  

Equipment needed is a lacrosse stick and sneakers/cleats. Helmets or goggles are not needed as the Clinic is non-contact.
