For the 2018-2019 SPRING season, we are offering an early bird discount of $20 if you register and pay your balance in full before January 31st. If your balance remains unpaid after January 31st, we reserve the right to remove the early bird discount from your account. We continue to ask for volunteer help during the upcoming season however this year, the volunteer fee has been automatically added to the base program cost. Should you choose to volunteer for one of the many opportunities we will have available, we will gladly refund and/or credit the $25 fee.
Volunteer opportunities to choose from including: Coaching, Team Parent, Concessions (work at a Red Wings Game), Clothing Booth (at McAvoy and other field locations throughout the season), Field Maintenance (during the week, before/after a game throughout the season including prep work before and during the season), being a volunteer on the Fundraising Committee, Special Events Committee or the Sponsorship Committee each lead by a member of the Board of Directors.
TO VOLUNTEER: Please complete the Little League required volunteer application, located in the Coaching/Volunteer program registration and submit/send it to irondequoitlittleleague.org so that a Little League required background check can be performed (Note: all information is confidential). Parents may become involved in any Volunteer activity they sign up for and will be contacted by someone on the Board of Directors after the background check has been performed.
