
Intermediate Division baseball returns to CCLL in 2017. League age 13-year old players can continue playing baseball for Canyon Creek Little League. Last season, CCLL’s Intermediate All-Stars won Nor Cal Sections and represented Northern California at the West Regionals down in Nogales, Arizona!
CCLL plans to offer a House Division Team that will participate against teams from other local Little Leagues. Intermediate 'Gold Level' will be a combination of players from CCLL, SRLL & Dublin LL.
Below is a comparison of the two teams.
CCLL Intermediate House
- “Real” baseball with leads, pick-offs, and balks.
- Metal cleats and big barrel bats allowed.*
- 20 to 25 regular season games plus playoffs.
- Competitive league in a travel-style format against teams throughout the East Bay.
- Play starts at 50/70 distances and will transition to 54/80 later in the season.
- Continuous batting with free substitutions. Minimum play rules apply.
- Tryouts may be required.
- Opportunities for All-Stars and summer tournaments.
- Cost will be the same as playing Majors in CCLL.
Intermediate 'Gold'- Combo Team (CCLL/SRLL & Dublin LL)
- Same format as Intermediate with the following exceptions:
- 30 to 35 regular season games plus playoffs.
- Highly competitive and recommended for our more skilled players.
- Tryouts will be conducted in early November (time & location TBD).
- Rules call for only 9 players in the game at a time but minimum play rules apply (similar to District All-Stars.
