Fees, Volunteering and Fundraising

Burnsville Brave LAX  is focused on strengthening our players today and our program for players tomorrow. In order to meet our goal, we will be investing in paid skills coaches. To pay for this investment, we will increase registration fees, hold revenue generating events and do personal fundraising.

Registration Fees

  • Payable at time of registration (limited scholarship and payment plans are available upon request)

    • If you don’t pay, you will not be registered and will be on a waitlist.

  • Volunteer Coaches (1 Head, 1 Assistant per team)  will get $100 OFF fees for 1 player

  • Also require $75 “volunteer deposit” check (see below)

Registration Fees Cover:

  • Uniform:  Jersey and Shorts (*additional jerseys will be ordered as needed)
  • Team balls, goalie gear, first aid kits, etc…
  • Game costs like officials, equipment, and EMTs at 12U/14U YLM association games
  • Tournaments
  • Does Not Cover: Personal equipment (pads, mouthguard, helmet, stick, etc…)

Communications with Parents

  • All association and team communication will be directed at parents via emails/texts.

  • Players may be included in communications sent to parents as a copy only.

Code of Conduct and Safety

  • We follow the US Lacrosse Code of Conduct for player, parents and coaches. Click here to view.

  • We strive to provide a safe environment for all players.

  • If your player has special needs, we ask that you notify your coach to discuss.

  • In some cases, we will require parent support at practices to ensure a supportive and safe environment for all players. Failure to comply with above  may require the situation to be reviewed by BAC Lacrosse Board. All board decisions are final and no refunds.

Volunteering Requirement: 2 Hours per family (would appreciate 4 hours per family)

  • Check required by May 1st  and will be held until returned or cashed.

  • Once hours are met, your $75 “volunteer deposit” check will be returned.

  • Families who do not volunteer by October will have their check cashed.

  • Ways to Volunteer:

    • Club Ad Hoc Needs through online sign-ups all throughout the year.

    • Team Needs through team manager (EMT, scorekeeper, timekeeper, Chill Manager, etc…)

    • Volunteer Roles  (see below)
