This tournament is designed to be like pond hockey. It is an end to end, fast paced, creative style of hockey.
Games will be 22 minute running clock games with continuous play rules (below)
No Coaching (1 adult/parent/coach may be on bench, but is not to coach; only to assist in fair play time and door)
Two experienced officials
Each game will consist of one 22 minute running clock period, except for Championship
Championship will be two 15 minute periods with 2 minute intermisssion
Full Ice Continuous Play
USA Hockey Rules apply
No Checking at any age level
Penalties will be enforced with a continuous penalty shot
Shooter starts on near blue line on officials whistle
Other players on red line and chase on whistle and continue play on save or missed shot
No off-sides and No icing, 3 on 3 full ice with goalies
No Slapshots
7-10 players per team; teams will be evenly balanced based upon league/coach input
No stoppage of play for goals or saves
Saves: Offensive team must all clear to blue line upon save and officials whistle; then can attack. Official will blow whistle, yell clear to signal save and for offensive team to clear zone.
Goals: Official will signal goal with whistle and hand signal. Scoring team must ALL clear to red line at same time before starting to pressure scored upon team. Official will signal goal and clear for scoring team to retreat to red line.
Puck out of play, but remaining on ice will continue without stoppage or whistle – Play on will be signaled by official.
Severe Penalties:
Severe penalties are as follows: Checking from behind, Fighting, Roughing and if the on-ice official believes there has been any type of severe misconduct on behalf of any player.
If a player receives a severe penalty, or two (2) roughing penalties, the player will be immediately ejected from the game. It is the on-ice official’s decision if further disciplinary action needs to be taken.

Tie breaker in this order is: Head to head record, Fewest goals allowed, Most wins, Most goals scored, Coin flip.
