The following are answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

 

Is Time Bandits Lacrosse a select program for Snohomish players only?

No. It is our goal is to serve the North Puget Sound lacrosse community by providing players who are ready to take their skills to the next level the quality coaching, exposure and playing experience they desire. Players from all rec programs are welcome. Currently we field players from Everett, Snohomish, Monroe, Edmonds, Mukilteo, Stanwood, Bothell/Northshore, Skagit Valley, North County, Woodinville and Bellingham and we look forward to including more clubs every year.

 

When are tryouts?

Youth Boys 4th - 7th Grade: Sunday, February 9th. Time and location TBD.
Boys 8th Grade - HS: Sunday, January 19th. Time and location TBD.
Girls Middle and HS tryouts will be held inside the regular Spring season, date TBD. Times can be found on the registration page as we near tryouts.

 

What is the cost for the Summer Select season?

We are proud to be the most affordable select lacrosse program in our area. Cost for the 2019 Summer season is as follows. Boys- $795 for registration, plus $100 for a full uniform (New uniforms are mandatory for the 2019 season, including returning players). Girls- $625 for registration, plus $75 for a full uniform. 2020 Fees are TBD but will be very similar to 2019.

 

What Summer Tournaments will we be participating in?

Youth Boys 4th - 7th Grade: Valhalla Summer Invation in Vancouver, WA, June 27-28. South Sound Summer Slam in Tacoma, WA, July 10-12.  Oregon Classic in Bend, OR, July 19-21. 
Boys 8th Grade - HS: Valhalla Summer Invation in Vancouver, WA, June 27-28. Western Invitational in Salt Lake City, UT, July 8-9.  Oregon Classic in Bend, OR, July 19-21.
Girls Time Bandits, Middle and High School will be participating in three Summer tournaments in 2019. Riptide Classic in Irvine, CA, June 27 & 28.  Rose City Showdown in Portland, OR, July 18 & 19.  Cascade Cup in Snohomish, WA July 24-26.

 

When do practices begin?

Practice for Summer will begin in early June for both Boys and Girls.

Communication regarding days and times will be sent via email at the beginning of the season.

NOTE: Harvey Field has some events that may result in our moving select practice dates to alternate fields. (You will know well in advance if this happens.)

 

If I played last year, can I reuse my uniform?

In 2019 we upgraded our uniforms to a more durable, light weight material more suitable for Summer play. All players  who received a uniform in Summer 2019 can re-use that uniform in 2020 if it still fits properly and is in good condition.

 

Do you offer refunds?

To withdraw your registration for the season, you must send an email to the Club Treasurer. The date of the email will determine the refund amount.

 

Field Lacrosse Programs:

The deposit is non-refundable! 

For a withdrawal request received at least 30 days prior to the first practice, Time Bandits will refund the Registration Fee paid minus the non-refundable deposit.

For a withdrawal request received less than 30 days of the first practice, Time Bandits will refund 50% of the Registration Fee paid minus the non-refundable deposit.

No refund will be granted after the first practice, regardless of the circumstances. At this time the club is committed to uniform, tournament, coach and field costs.  An injured player will remain on the team roster and be eligible to join/return to the team upon recovering from the injury.

 

Box Lacrosse Programs:

For a withdrawal request received prior to close of Registration, Time Bandits will refund the Registration Fee paid minus a $15 service charge.

For a withdrawal request received between close of registration and start of practices, Time Bandits will refund 50% of the Registration Fee paid minus a $15 service charge.

No refund will be granted after the first practice, regardless of the circumstances. The club will be committed to league and field costs. An injured player will remain on the team roster and be eligible to join/return to the team upon recovering from the injury.
