The Peninsula Rays Baseball Club (PRBC), Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to developing skilled players who want to personally excel in baseball while attaining character maturity in a fun positive environment. RCRBC teams will be entered in USSSA Baseball Northern California tournaments (see: the Nor Cal USSSA South Bay sight http://www.norcalsports.us/Baseball/baseball/index.htm or the USSSA Baseball National site: http://www.usssabaseball.org/index.htm).
PRBC is committed to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization whose ideals are to provide a high-quality experience where each athlete:
Is coached utilizing the principles of Positive Coaching
Understands the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty and respect for one another and authority
Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of baseball improving as a player
Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
Has fun playing the game
Coaches will sign a commitment form to protect the health and safety of their players. This means coaches will make sure that they will not over pitch their pitchers – they will work with coaches from other teams so that a pitcher is not over worked and has the appropriate rest each week.
