LAX FOR A CAUSE Fundraiser
an 8 Hour Lacrosse Marathon featuring the boys and girls from CYA and SYA

Chantilly Youth Association (CYA) and Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) are joining forces to host the third annual  “LAX FOR A CAUSE" lacrosse marathon and fundraiser. The eight-hour lacrosse event will be held on March 18, 2017, at Centreville High School. The goal? Raise $20,000 to directly benefit children with cancer through a local charity called Special Love.

The marathon will feature more than 20 teams – with players ages five and up – which will play at a different time slots throughout the day. Funds will be raised through player sponsorships from individuals and businesses prior to the marathon, as well as through concessions and t-shirt sales on the day of the event.

“We hope to see great community participation for this event. Individuals and businesses are encouraged to sponsor our young players … and come out and enjoy a great day of lacrosse,” says CYA Commissioner, Chris Saben. “We want to show our youth that they can be a powerful force for good – to the benefit our community!”
