While player registration fees cover part of NBLL’s operating costs, we also rely on generous financial support of individuals and businesses to help keep baseball affordable for families in our community. These donations help fund field rental and maintenance, scholarships for players with financial need, player equipment, uniforms, and
ongoing safety-related needs. We are privileged to receive many in-kind donations of materials and labor, which help us stretch our sponsor contributions even farther. Check out some of the recent projects that have made NBL: safer, more enjoyable facilities for all our players.
Safety for players and spectators is our highest priority. We direct a significant portion of our annual budget toward maintaining aging facilities and replacing worn-out or unsafe equipment. We worked on these projects in 2013 - funding safer, more enjoyable facilities for all our players. Some projects included:
- Replacement of additional unstable or exposed fencing sections
- Repair/replacement of structural dugout damage at various sites
- Replenish/improvement of infield condition and drainage at several fields
- Wiring/electrical upgrades at our Snack Shack
Our ability to complete these and many other necessary projects is largely contingent on funds received through team and league sponsorships.
