General Season Information
PRR Cheerleading Season begins Aug 1st to approximately the end of November. The total number of games cheered for will be based on the Football Teams/Divisions, typically there are 10 Regular Season Games, and any addition games will include Pre Season Games, Playoffs, Super Bowls and any addition State Playoffs that are the discretion of the Cheer Team Coach.
Cheer Squad Divisions
Cheerleaders are placed on squads based on their birth year and level of skill, to allow us to balance squads with an adequate number of cheerleaders and ensure proper instruction and coaching. All decisions on placement will be decided by the Cheer Director based on squad availability/capacity.
Cheer squads are based upon the cheerleader’s age and experience in sideline cheer. Starting this season, the Raiders will be holding tryouts for one Raiders Competition Cheer Squad. Tryouts and registration will be in addition to the sideline cheer and details will be announced in the summer.
When registering please indicate which squad your cheerleader(s) would like to participate on. Registration is first come first serve, register early to ensure a spot. Once a division is full, it is up to the discretion of the Cheer Director to place cheerleaders in divisions outside of their age range.

Practices
Official practices start the first week of August and occur 3-4 days per week depending on the coaching staff. You will be contacted by your players coach at least two weeks before the 1st practice.
Game Schedules
The Regular Season typically begins August 27th; Cheer Schedules will be produced once the Football Season Schedule is available.
