This year marks the 28^th anniversary of the club’s tournament and we have some exciting new sponsor opportunities to share.  Many of you have been long-term supporters but, for those who are new to Hartwell we’d like to share that this is Hartwell’s largest fundraiser of the year.  Our club is a 501c(3) organization, founded in 1971,  that is run by volunteers. It utilizes its funds in support of the local Glastonbury community for scholarships, field improvements, referees, trophies, uniforms, and general administration. The club also subsidizes the cost to the community to participate in the club programs and provides special funding for underprivileged or economically disadvantaged children. 

On Friday, April 26^th through Sunday, April 28^th our town will be filled with soccer families.  It attracts over 200 teams from the Northeast (80% from Connecticut) for a full weekend of fun and soccer. The families attending the tournament stay in local hotels, eat in local restaurants and use local services. Your donation will help make this a great event for the over 3,000 children who participate and the over 12,000 people who attend.

This year we will be implementing a mobile application in addition to our website.  We will also be replacing our paper tournament booklet with an electronic version that will remain available on our website all year.    In addition to the environmental benefits of less paper, both allow for better communication between Hartwell and the tournament families.   With these changes, we have updated our sponsorship opportunities and are excited to be able to offer additional benefits.  Please take a moment to review the attached document for sponsorship information.  Please contact , Jenn Jennings, or our club president, Tim Gourley, with any specific questions regarding sponsorship and/or special sponsorship opportunities.
