Coach Drew Smith is entering his 5th year of coaching with the Seneca Valley Youth program.He has coached at all 3 levels of the program during these 5 years.He is also in his second year as the Head Coach of the Jefferson Middle School Wrestling team in the Mt. Lebanon School District where he is an 8th Grade U.S. History teacher.Prior to his teaching career, Coach Drew spent 11 years as an Officer in the Marine Corps, where he flewthe CH-46E helicopter during two different tours in Iraq. He also spent time as an Officer recruiter in Western PA helping to train collegiate studentsto complete Officer Candidate School.Coach Drew graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2001 where he was a 2 times Varsity Letter winner in wrestling. During High School, he held a 148-24 career record and was a 4 times District placer and 2 times placer at the OHSAAState Wrestling Tournament earning 2nd place his sophomore year in Division II and 4th place his senior year in Division I.
Mike Beres - Coach
Mark Bidoli - Coach
Mark wrestled from the age of six in a youth program and then on up until his senior year in high school on the varsity squad. His two boys have participated in the Seneca Valley program since 2010 and Mark has been an assistant coach since 2012.
Ron Sherman - Coach
Coach Ron wrestled for 5 years through Junior High and High School competitively in Washington state. He won several awards over the years. He has been coaching wrestling for over 3 years.
Tony May - Coach
Coach Tony wrestled for 14 years as a child and had state appearances for Area III in the Jr. Olympics to include a state runner-up finish. Coach Tony also holds a WPIAL runner-up finish in High School for team and individual competition. Coach Tony played baseball in college and now enjoys coaching his children in youth baseball. This will be his first year coaching youth wrestling.
Rocky Habel - Coach
Coach Rocky started his coaching career with the Seneca Valley Youth program in 2017 and is Vice President of the Seneca Valley Wrestling Association Board. Prior to joining the coaching staff, Rocky wrestled for twelve years throughout elementary, middle school and high school. As a youth, he made several appearances for Area VI in the PJW State Championships. Rocky went on to become a four year letter winner, a PIAA State Qualifier and a member of the 1998 PIAA State Championship team at Reynolds High School. After high school, he studied accounting at the University of Pittsburgh and settled in Cranberry Township with his wife Nicole and two boys, Jackson and Cooper.
