Season: Spring (Beginning of April through End of May)
Leagues: St. Giles participates in one volleyball league for each of our grades, 5-8. The Classic league hosts a number of other catholic elementary schools from the Chicago-land area. All Classic League home games will be played in the St. Giles Gym, and all away games will be played at any of the Classic League competitor schools. The Classic league will have it's own post season tournament based on regular season performance.
* Each grade level will have their own team unless there are not enough players to field its own team. If there are not enough players at a specific level, we will look to combine grades to form a JV or Varsity team.
Practices & Games: Practice and Classic League games will be held primarily during the week (Monday through Friday) with some Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons. Participation will be 2-4 days per week. It will be at the coaches discretion to create squads for teams with a larger number of participants. Pre-season camp will begin Mid - March.
You can find schedules for your child's team under the "Teams" tab on the horizontal list at the top of the page. Simply scroll over "Teams," move to "Choose Team," then "spring" and select either 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boys volleyball. Along with a schedule you will find a roster of your child's team mates.

Price: $75 for registration through March 15 (*after March 15, a $25 late fee will be added to all registrations). You will be required to be paid in full for the season before you will be permitted to play.
To Register: Please click on the RED "Register Now" button on the home page. If you do not see a Register Now button, registration has closed.
Registration Dates & Deadline: Registration will be February 15 - March 15.
Uniforms: You will be wearing the same uniform as you used LAST SPRING. You will keep these t-shirts and you will use them again next year. We will NOT be collecting them at the end of the season. You also may want to consider ordering a size up. If you have lost your uniform, you will need to replace your uniform at a cost of $20. If you have outgrown your old uniform, please bring your old uniform in and trade up for a new one (you MUST bring in the old one to trade up). Solid black shorts that were issued in fall soccer will be used. If you have lost your black shorts, you can purchase a new pair for $10. ** If you do not have/wear the proper uniform - you will not be permitted to play!
Volunteer Requirements: All families are required to volunteer for 1 hour during the season. Volunteer help is needed at the spring Athletic Fun Lunch, helping at concessions during the game, helping work the score board and being a team manager. You can sign up for your preferred option under the "volunteer" tab in the top horizontal menu. If you do not sign up for your preferred option during the first week of the season, a time slot will be assigned to you.
