Lacrosse Clinic and Long Island Lizards game
July 28
On July 28th the Brooklyn Crescents Lacrosse Club will hold a clinic with the MLL Long Island Lizards - professional lacrosse team - in conjunction with the Lizard players along with women collegiate players from Stony Brook University.
The Clinic starts at 4:00 pm on July 28th. Please arrive by 3:30 pm.
After the clinic, watch the Lizards play their last home game of the season at 7 pm.
The clinic is open to all lacrosse players from PreK through senior in high
school aged players.

RIPA/Nike Lacrosse Camp
August 1st and 2nd
For boys and girls ages 12-18
The Randall's Island Park Alliance and Nike are proud to host a FREE two-day lacrosse summer camp August 1 - 2 for students ages 12-18. The RIPA/Nike Lacrosse Camp will be an outstanding program that includes SPARQ training, lacrosse skills, scrimmages and an awards ceremony. The goal of the camp is to expose those that have never played lacrosse to an emerging and popular sport, and to sharpen the skills of those more experienced in the sport. Regardless of skill level, the camp should stimulate the athlete’s love for the game, encourage sportsmanship, and build self confidence.
Scholarships will be provided to all campers. Priority admission will be given to students within neighboring communities, though all are invited to apply. Lunch, awards, a Nike t-shirt, and bus transportation are included. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own lacrosse equipment; however, a certain amount of loaner equipment will be available upon request. Doc’s NYC Lacrosse/Rotten Apples

Doc’s NYC Lacrosse/Rotten Apples Summer Boys High School Lacrosse program operates out of
Poly Prep Preparatory School in Brooklyn (turf field with lights). Our program this summer will have two parts in an effort to reach as many interested players as possible. First, through a June tryout process, we are organizing an
NYC tournament team competing in the July 26-29 Empire Cup college exposure event (an NY State regional competition modeled like the old Empire Games). Second, we will have
weekly game/scrimmages and clinics during June and July for any high school player in the area or outside of the City. In addition, we will offer
some special instructional clinics given by guest coaches from major Division I programs (Hofstra, Syracuse, Cornell, and others).
NYC Team Competing in the Empire Cup College Exposure Tournament (US Lacrosse Membership Number Required)

Tryouts June 11, 13, 18, and 20. Check-in at 6:30PM On field at 7PM. Poly Prep’s Turf field. Cost for Tryout is $75.00. Tryout registration is at
www.empirestatecup.com. Attend minimum of 2.
· Team selections announced by June 22. Coaches for the team will be
Brooks Sweet (Head Coach of Poly Prep, All-American at UMass, former World Games MVP); Joe Fowler (Assistant Head Coach at Poly Prep, Coach in the Doc’s NYC Lacrosse program, and former starting Goalie at Hofstra University); Ben Kaminow (Syracuse University Club player, Director of the Boys Division of Doc’s NYC Lacrosse, and Co-Founder of CityLax); members of the current Hofstra University team.
Players named to this team may participate in other Club programs, but must attend the team’s (3) practices and all of the Empire Cup tournament games.
· Team practices July 19, 23, and 24 (all mandatory); Travel day July 25.
· Empire Cup Tournament to be held
July 26-29 in Syracuse; well attended by college coaches.
· Team fees at this time are
estimated at $500 (to be finalized) per player,

Rising High School Senior or younger. No high school graduates. Team will be composed mainly of players from 5 boroughs but has some spots for players from outside the City.
Weekly Game/Scrimmages at Poly Prep (US Lacrosse Membership Number Required)
· Show up and play.
· For any high school players in the area (including those on NYC Empire Cup Team); Rising 9-12
th Graders.
· June 25, 27, July 2, 9, 11, 16, 18. 7PM face-off. Fee per session is $20.00 per player.
Specialty instructional Clinics (US Lacrosse Membership Number Required)
· Featuring Coach Brooks Sweet and former college players from Syracuse (Kenny Nims, Chris Daniello, Matt Tierney) and Hofstra.
· Face-offs and wing play, 2-man offensive game, individual and team defense, and more.
· June 27, July 2, and July 9; all at 6PM. Fee is free (included with game/scrimmage fee)
