Chris Ogle - Coach 2023
  • Current Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach and Teacher at Archbishop Curley High School
  • Former starting Midfielder for UMBC
  • 1997 graduate of Fallston High School
  • Fallston High Attackmen 1st team All-County
  • All County Honors as a Junior and Senior
  • 1997 Maryland State Coaches North/South All-Star Attackmen
  • 2002 Graduate from UMBC
  • 1998 and 1999 NCAA Playoffs Participant
  • Won back to back MIAA Championships in 2007 and 2008 at Curley where the team  averaged 15 goals per game
  • 2010 Head Coach Mavericks All-Star Team: Got-Skills Tournament Champions
  • 2020 will be his 10th year with the Mavericks

 

Aaron Verardi - Coach 2023

  • Current Head Lacrosse Coach at Harford Community College
  • Verardi was an integral part of the record-breaking Fighting Owl men's lacrosse season last year, helping Harford reach the NJCAA National Tournament.
  • A defensive standout at UMBC, registering 19 groundballs and causing five turnovers as a senior in 2011.
  • He graduated from UMBC in 2011
  • Stand out Defensemen for The Boy's Latin School

Rob Grimm - Coach 2023

  • Currently a pharmaceutical representative for Arbor Pharmaceuticals
  • 2012 spent 2 years as an assistant coach at Goucher College
  • 3 year Starter under Don Zimmerman at UMBC
  • Selected as a Team Captain his senior year
  • Became just the third player in Carthage school history to earn All-America honors in consecutive seasons
  • Amassed 56 goals and 59 assists in a stellar senior season for the Comets
  • The 2008 Syracuse Post Standard All-Central New York Most Valuable Player
  •  A four-time First-Team All-Frontier League honoree and two-time All-North MVP

Doug Sharretts - Coach 2022

  • Current Teacher at St. Margarets Middle School
  • Current Assisant Varsity Coach at John Carroll High School
  • Former Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Harford Tech High School
  • 2016 Harford County Coach of the Year
  • Former Offensive Assistant at John Carroll High School
  • 1987 graduate of Boys' Latin School as a 4 year Varsity lacrosse player
  • Played 2 years at UNC Chapel Hill with a Final Four appearance in 1989
  • Played 1 year at Towson State and was a participant in the 1991 NCAA Title Game
  • 5 years coaching John Carroll (JV and Varsity)
  • Over 25 years of coaching youth lacrosse

 

Connor Burgasser - Coach 2022

  • Burgasser played long-stick midfield at Salisbury University and lettered all four years of his career.  
  • Burgasser is the bearer of 2 National Titles (2007-08) and has appeared in 3 National Title games.  
  • He lead the Sea Gulls from 2008 to 2010 in take aways and earned 1st Team CAC honors in 2008 and 2010.  
  • In 2010 he was awarded the Charles Clark Cup Award and was garnished with 2nd Team All American honors as well as being an Academic All American.
  • Burgasser graduated from Salisbury University in the spring of 2010 with a bachelors degree in Physical Education.  
  • He is currently an assistant coach for the Salisbury University men's lacrosse team under Jim Berkman.  
  • He is also currently pursuing his master's degree in Public School Administration.  
  • Connor is originally from Rochester, NY.

 Patrick Mull - Coach 2021

  • Current Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach and Teacher at Aberdeen High School.
  • Coach Mull began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at Fallston High School in 2014 where he helped the Cougars to a 3rd straight 1A-2A State Championship.  
  • Previously, Coach Mull played collegiate lacrosse for St. Mary's College of Maryland where he was twice named to the All-Conference team in 2012 and 2013 and was a Scholar All American in his final season.  
  • In that final season with the Seahawks, the school saw the Seahawks make school history by winning the conference and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.  
  • Prior to Coach Mull's experience at St. Mary's, he played for Fallston High School where he was named to 1st Team All-County in 2007, 2008, and 2009.  
  • Coach Mull was also named Fox45 Prep Player of the Week in 2008 and Baltimore Sun Player of the Week in 2009.  
  • Coach Mull broke school records for points and assists in a career and is currently the record holder for both those categories with 289 career points and 232 career assists.       

Zach Esser - Coach 2021

  • Current Defensive Coordinator of Harford Community College
  • Former starting Defensemen at UMBC
  • Earned America East First Team honors on defense
  • Named to the All-Championship team for his outstanding two-game efforts versus Binghamton and Albany
  • Repeated as an America East First Team defender, becoming the first UMBC defender to earn a pair of first team honors.  
  • Led the team in caused turnovers (16) for the third consecutive year
  • High School highly-decorated defenseman/LSM
  • A three-time Brine All-American, two-time Champion All-American and a U.S. Lacrosse All-American in 2012
  • Named the top 1A/2A player in the state of Maryland in 2012…
  • Competed on the varsity in all four years at Fallston, earning First Team All-County and All-Upper Chesapeake Bay Conference honors from 2009-12

Dean Thrasher
  • Currently a Teacher at Bakerfield Elementary and Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Aberdeen High School.
  • Former Assistant at Patterson Mill High School.
  • Coach Thrasher's playing career was a brilliant one as he played all four years while at North Harford High School.
  • In his senior season in 2006, Coach Thrasher led the Hawks to a Regional Championship and a State-Semifinal appearance.  That same year Coach Thrasher also garnered several individual honors where he led the team in points with 88 while scoring 42 goals and tacking on 46 assists, earning him the honor of High School All American for Harford County.  
  • Later on Coach Thrasher played at Salisbury University where he was a member of the 2007 National Championship Team.
