Preparing a Field After Rain

If a puddle exists on the field, the following procedure should be executed:

  • Dig small hole at low point of puddle,

  • Insert Puddle sucker at puddle low point, (located in Field Box)

  • Pump out puddle,

  • LIGHTLY SPRINKLE Quick Dry over the moist, non puddle area to simply firm up the infield surface.

A few noteworthy facts:

  • Quick Dry costs $12/bag and we can not go through a bag of Quick Dry per puddle.

  • Quick Dry when over used, is not good for the infield mix, it actually degrades the clay mixture.

  • As of 5/2/12 all Field Boxes were fully stocked with Quick Dry
