The Season
Winter Season

Registration: Registration will close on October 25th.  Last season we had over 400 boys and girls registered.  We hope to exceed that number this season. Thank you parents and coaches for your support.

Evaluation, Draft and Team Assignments: Evaluations will occur on Saturday October 26th. Once complete, we will hold a draft and assign teams.  We are really focusing on having balanced team to make sure all kids learn good sportsmanship.  Since this is the rec league, the focus will be on having fun.

Practice Times and Locations: Practices will start after the draft and will continue through mid-December.  The gyms are closed during the holiday break, reopening in early January.

Games:  Games will start December 14th.

Coaches:  We could really use help here.  We had trouble getting coaches last season and went into the draft will a lot of gaps. Please consider volunteering to coach or be an assistant coach, teaching the kids the basics, focusing on having fun. Coaches will receive a 50% refund from their child’s registration. Around October 15th the league will also begin waitlist players if we don’t have enough coaches registered.

Referees: Our referee program is in need of a complete makeover. We are looking for someone willing to manage our referee program including training our referees and filling in as needed. This would include playoff games. This could be a paid position for the year. We are also looking for referees for the season. You can register on SCAA.
