Jack Bruckner, 2012 & 2013 All-American 

 Prep: A four-year letterwinner for Mike Hoppey at Ward Melville … A two-time high school All-American … Amassed 109 goals and 85 assists for 294 points in his scholastic career … Earned first team All-Metro  honors in 2013 after tallying 58 goals and 38 assists … Led Ward Melville to the Class A  New York State Championship in 2013 … Also selected to the 2013 Under Armour All-America squad and named the 2013 Team Freedom Most Valuable Player at the Champion Lacrosse Showcase … Had 39 goals and 29 assists as a junior to earn second team All-Metro recognition … Named to the All-County squad as a sophomore …  Also lettered three years in soccer as a goalie … Named all-league and all-county  during his soccer career.

Personal: Son of John and Helene Bruckner … father played football at the United State Merchant Marine Academy and was inducted into the USMMA Hall of Fame in 2007 … Uncle, Nick played football at Syracuse and played three seasons with the New York Jets in the NFL … Sister, Amber, is a senior captain of the Wesleyan College field hockey team, while other sister, Helene, played field hockey for C.W. Post.

  Christian Mazzone, 2013 All-American

Prior to Rutgers: Three-year varsity player at Ward Melville HS … named a US Lacrosse All-American as a senior … received MSG Varsity All-Tri-State First Team and Newsday All-Long Island First Team honors in 2013 … helped his team to an undefeated 22-0 senior season, earning the MVP for the Suffolk County Championship game … the squad was Suffolk County, Long Island and New York state champions in 2013 and was ranked the No. 1 high school team in the nation … member of the All-Suffolk County squad as a junior … played varsity soccer for three years, earning all-conference honors as a senior … parents are Ken and Barbara Mazzone … has four siblings: Kenny, Kristina, Will and Alex … brother Will plays lacrosse for Army … born June 19, 1995.

Steven Rastivo, 2008 All-American

While at Ward Melville High School: Graduated from Ward Melville High School in East Setauket, N.Y. in 2008... was coached in high school by Mike Hoppey...a 2008 high school All-America selection...played in the 2008 Under Armour All-America Game...excelled in that contest and was tapped the game MVP...snared Suffolk County Rookie of the Year kudos in 2006...member of the 2007 Long Island Empire State Games Team...a 2007 All-Suffolk County selection...led Ward Melville to an undefeated season in 2008 as well as a division championship and a spot in the Suffolk County championship match...the team was also the division champion in 2006 and garnered Suffolk County Tournament finalist status in 2006, 2007 and 2008...his senior year team was ranked in the Top 5 nationally...Nike Blue Chip Camp attendee...member of Spanish Honor Society. Community Service &?Leadership: Volunteered with the St. James Soup and Infant Jesus Soup Kitchens... a Three Village Wildcats volunteer football coach.



Jimmy Ryan, 2010 All-American

While at Ward Melville High School: Jimmy was a member of the varsity lacrosse team at Ward Melville … named a captain his senior year … compiled 43 goals and 41 assists in his career with 25 goals and 24 assists his senior season … competed in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Suffolk County Championships … was a two-time all-county lacrosse selection in 2008 and 2010 … named to the 2010 All-American Lacrosse team and the 2010 All-Long Island second team … named the Ward Melville High School Most Outstanding Senior Male Athlete … voted the Most Valuable Player by his team in 2009 … in addition to lacrosse, he also earned letters in football and winter track & field … was named to the first team all-division team in 2009 and 2010, and was a 2009 academic all-division team selection for football … was named a 2010 captain for the football team.

While at Ward Melville High School: Matt was a four-year Varsity letterwinner for Mike Hoppey at Ward Melville … earned All-America honorable mention recognition in 2010 … named to the all-county team in 2008, 2009 and 2010 … led team in groundballs and caused turnovers as a senior … selected by the coaches as the team’s best lockdown defender … Team Pride’s Most Valuable Player at the 2010 Florida Champion Lacrosse Tournament … also lettered in football and basketball … earned all-league honors twice for football … was a member of the National Honor Society.
