CT Lacrosse Training is extremely pleased to offer 10 weeks of position-specific lacrosse skills development and fast paced games for boys and girls youth lacrosse players entering grades 3 – 8. Our goal is to ensure every participant demonstrates noticeable lacrosse skill improvement and game situation awareness.
Winter Youth Details
What: Ten week training session and fast paced games for boys and girls youth players in grades 5/6 and 7/8. NOTE: This program is designed for serious players who possesses at least an intermediate skill level. Consistent catching and passing skills are required to participate.
When: One ten-week session will take place from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. from November - February
Lacrosse Coaches: 4 coaches present during skills development; 2 coaches present during games
Brian Tilley, University of Hartford men's assistant coach, offensive coordinator, and goalie coach will serve as the Head Coach for the boys winter session. Tilley's bio can be found here. Coach Tilley will lead each session and will coach Midfielders. Tilley will be joined by three current Univ of Hartford players - an Attackman, Defenseman and a Goalie. Each coach will work with small groups to develop position-specific skills.
Kelly Nangle, Head Coach at Central Connecticut State University, will serve as the Head Coach for the girls winter session. Nangle's bio can be found here. Coach Nangle will lead each session and will coach the offense. Coach Nangle will be joined by three CCSU players. Each will work with small groups to develop position specific skills.
Note: Scott Kossbiel, Head Avon High School Varsity Lacrosse Coach will coach the 3/4 grade group. He will be joined by an Assistant Coach when enrollment exceeds 10 players. This group will be limited to 20 players.
