The summer clinic series will run two programs in tandem, new players and returning players, each Tuesday night over the summer. We have experienced coaches for each session and we will divide groups and modify instruction based on attendees. This is a program designed to invite new players to try lacrosse and to keep our experienced players advancing their skills during the summer.
New Players: If your players is relatively new to Lacrosse, meaning they haven't played on a team during a competitive season, please select "New Player". "New Players" will be taught the basics of passing and catching and will be able to scrimmage using no contact rules designed to teach lacrosse basics the create a stepping stone to traditional play. If you need a loaner stick for use throughout the summer clinic, please select the checkbox during registration to borrow a stick from Berkeley Lacrosse Club.
Experienced Players: Experienced players will get to practice existing skills and develop more refined skills of the game. Scrimmages will be tailored to attendees. Players may bring their equipment (stick, helmets, goggles, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves) but equipment will be modified based on activities.
Low Cost: Our Summer Clinic is FREE to all players, but pre-registration and a US Lacrosse membership is required. A youth US Lacrosse membership is $30 annually and can be used for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 seasons. If you do not have your US Lacrosse membership number, you will be redirected to the US Lacrosse website to purchase the annual memebership during the registration process.
Flexible Schedule: Once you've registered, you can join us for 1 - 10 sessions, depending on your summer schedule and availability. RSVP for individual weeks is not required. Registered players can drop into a Summer Clinic anytime throughout the summer.
