Q: Why it is important to registrer early: A: There are a number of items that must be completed by the end of January. VLA is required to notify CVYL & CVGYL exactly how many teams we will have so that they are included on the league schedules. VLA needs to register teams in tournaments and coordinate with the town for practice and game field time. Equipment and uniform purchases need to be made prior to the season and we need league numbers to determine what we order. VLA needs to gauge the number of coaches and assistant coaches that are needed.
