Coach Pitch (1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade)

Girls who usually League Age 6 7 play in this division (1st and 2nd graders).  First graders who are League Age 6 may play Tee Ball upon request.

This is the first introduction to softball for girls in DSLL.  Soft 11 inch softballs are used.  This is an instructional league in which Coaches pitch to batters underhand and there is no stealing.  The rules are modified to ensure that players are given plenty of opportunities to learn and succeed.  Teams do not keep score and there are no formal standings.
