South County Athletic Association (SCAA) has youth sports programs in the Lorton / Springfield VA area for football, soccer, cheerleading, lacrosse, basketball, field hockey, wresting, volleyball, and track.
For the 2020 Fall Football Season, SCAA will compete in the Virginia American Youth Football Alliance (VAYFA). VAYFA is an Amercian Youth Football (AYF) charted conference and AYF is the world's largest youth football and cheer organization. As a member of VAYFA, SCAA teams will have a chance to compete in AYF Regional and National tournanments.

The Football Program is designed to provide fundamental instruction in the game of football, in addition to providing for the physical, mental, and emotional development of each child who participates. This is accomplished through emphasis on sportsmanship, team play, self-discipline, maximum effort, integrity, and maximum participation. See the Parent Handbook for answers to common questions.
We continue to host a program every year that is fun, exciting and instructional. We can assure our returning and new SCAA players and families that they will get the attention and stability necessary to enjoy a successful season. This past season we had 6 teams with approximately 110 players and this upcoming year we are expecting even more.
If you have specific questions on the football program, please contact Commissioner Rob Hunt at Football@scaasports.net, and follow us on FaceBook.
