All players must register online with USA Hockey for the upcoming 2009-10 season.  Please follow the instructions below to register.
Note that from May 1 through July 31, there will be two seasons available for online registration: 2008-09 and 2009-10.  Be sure that you register for the 2009-10 season!!
  1. Go to the USA Hockey registration website at www.usahockeyregistration.com
  2. Click on the button for member type: Ice Player & Coach.
  3. You must be 18 years of age to process a registration. Check the box that acknowledges that you (not the player) are 18 or older.
  4. Select the correct season: click on the button for the 2009-10 season. USA Hockey will not refund fees if you accidentally register for 2007-08, and you will have to repeat this process and register and pay for 2008-09.
  5. Follow the prompts and fill in all data correctly. The player's first and last name must match the birth certificate -- no nicknames.  Use the players home address, not a boarding school address, even if the home address is out of state.
  6. Process payment – Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card).
  7. After paying, you will receive a confirmation page.  Print the page now for your records, and also save it to your computer.  The page will also be emailed to you immediately after the registration is completed.
  8. Once you receive the confirmation email from USA Hockey, save it and forward it to your team manager.
USA Hockey Fees:
Each participant will pay the USA Hockey fee of $30 if age 7 or older.  Connecticut residents will also pay the Connecticut Hockey Conference Affiliate fee of $10. This fee applies to all youth players regardless of age.
Players who live outside Connecticut will pay the affiliate fees charged by the USA Hockey Affiliate that governs the state in which they live.  For example, if you live in New York State, even though you play in Connecticut, you will be charged the NY affiliate fee. If a participant plays and coaches he/she pays only one registration fee.
Additional information:

The home address should be used for all participants. Do not use the player's boarding school address. If a player lives in one state and plays in another, enter the home address and pay any applicable Affiliate fee for that state.
