The Mission of CYA Lacrosse is to advance the game of Lacrosse to the Youth of Western Fairfax County, to encourage individual skill mastery, teamwork, and to foster character development and sportsmanship.
We support a child’s right to challenge themselves, in a positive team oriented environment. As a volunteer run organization, we strive to provide each player with an experience that is commensurate with their skills and expectations.
It is our hope that everyone involved would consider this as one program.The players from all of the teams are our kids, no matter which uniform they wear.
We expect that everyone will encourage and support each player, for their skill, effort, and participation, and not for a team, a town or a game’s outcome. Please treat every child as you would your own, as we all share the same enthusiasm – the game of Lacrosse.
