EHA is a 100% volunteer run organization. We appreciate your interest in coaching and helping us have a successful season. The following is a list of requirements and links for all Coaches and LTS helpers.
Please make sure to use your legal name( ie:Daniel not Dan) on all accounts.
Please note that all (Except 6 which must be completed by Dec 31st) must be completed before allowed to step on the ice.

1. USA Hockey Registration
All volunteers should register as a “Player/Coach” (There is a cost that will be reimbursed by EHA at the end of the season)
2. Supply EHA with your new USA Hockey Confirmation number

3. CHC Background Screening
All coaches must complete. This is Bi-annual requirement. This can take up to 14 days to clear and you cannot particapate as a coach until it shows in our system as completed. There is a fee that will be reimbursed by EHA at the end of the season.
4. Safesport Training
All coaches must complete Safesport training before being allowed on the ice. This is an annual requirement. After completing it the first year you will then have shorter refresher courses the following years.
5. USA Hockey Age Specific Training Modules
Complete the age specific module for the age group that you are coaching. This must be completed prior to getting the ice.
6. USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP) Clinic
Attend an appropriate coaching clinic if your certification is expiring or expired. Currently clinics are being done both virtually and in-person. There is a fee that will be reimbursed by EHA at the end of the season (up to the cost of a level 3 clinic). This does not need to be competed until December 31st, but please understand that if after that time you have not completed the requirements, you will be removed from the roster per USAHockey rules.
