Uniforms are designed new every other spring season and will be used for summer and fall seasons throughout the year.  The full uniform kit (hat, jersey, pants, belt and socks) is normally around $100 and paid separately from the league fee.  Players will be given the opportunityt to have a fitting (spring only) and parents can purchase items online once the roster is finalized.

The Spring Travel Program runs every March - June. Spring travel teams are formed by grade and designed for the more competitive players with a desire to compete and develop their skills in the game of baseball.  All spring travel players receive playing time at the coach's discretion, and may rotate through various positions to gain exposure. Coaches will roster bat as directed by the league they are playing in, whether that league is USABL or another league.  If roster batting is not mandated, then it will be at the coach's discretion.  A higher level of commitment is expected at the Travel level with multiple practices and games scheduled each week. Placement on a travel team does not guarantee future placement.  In-season performance and tryouts will be used to form rosters, and then teams will be entered into leagues and tournaments based on ability levels. BH PAL will make as many travel teams as possible based on the number of kids that register, and if volunteers are available to coach.

The Summer Travel Program runs every mid June - mid August and is meant for the most elite and competitive baseball players, with the goal of challenging each player to the apex of their abilities. Summer rosters are formed by age to be more competitive, and to be in line with other town's allstar teams as well as the Cal Ripken Tournament Trail format.  Playing time is at the coach's discretion and not all players may receive equal playing time, the summer program is very competitive.  Full player commitment and parent cooperation is expected through the summer months. Placement on a travel team does not guarantee future placement.  Spring season performance and May tryouts will be used to form the summer elite rosters, and then teams will be entered into leagues and tournaments based on ability levels. BH PAL will make as many travel teams as possible based on the number of kids that register, and if volunteers are available to coach.

The Fall Travel Program runs every September - October.  Fall travel baseball is considered off-season and is typically the most relaxed of the three baseball seasons.  Fall travel baseball coaches are expected to schedule and work around in-season PAL sports like football and soccer. Fall travel teams are formed by grade using the top players based on previous season performace as well as most recent tryout results. Registration varies the most in the fall, so rosters may change based on who registers to play and who does not.  All travel players receive playing time at the coach's discretion, and may rotate through various positions to gain exposure. Coaches will roster bat as directed by the league they are playing in, whether that is USABL or another league.

Tryouts are free of charge and are offered every May (for summer elite teams) and October (for spring travel teams). Parents will receive email invitations to register far in advance of the tryout date.  All tryouts are conducted by independent evaluators with no connection to the PAL baseball program, travel coaches or parents.  Teams rosters are formed based on in-season performance and tryout results.  The RED team will be comprised of the top 10-12 players (12 players maximum, could be less).  NAVY team will be formed only if there are enough players and coaches registered and interested.  Refunds will only be issued to any player that registers, but is not placed on a team.

Winter clinics and workouts are optional and do not affect a player's standing on any team. Communications will be sent thru the program and coaches at the appropriate times for those that wish to work on their skills during the off season.  Winter sessions are the ideal time to work on mechanics, as coaches tend to focus on team development and general baseball strategies during the season.
