The travel lacrosse season runs from April - the middle of June. We do our best to provide travel teams to all ages and for both boys and girls. Depending on the numbers and coaches we will have Girls 12u, 14u, and Varsity. We will also have boys 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, JV, and Varsity teams.
The spring season is the primary travel season for Polars Lacrosse
Practices start in March for our travel teams.
Practices will begin indoors at the Metro Rec Center or the Rustad Recreation Center for our travel teams
Outdoor practices are held at Rendezvous in West Fargo, ND, and Towers Fields in West Fargo, ND.
Games are in April and May with the playoffs in June.
The travel teams will be formed by a tryout-based selection process. The players will be evaluated by knowledgeable lacrosse coaches and placed on teams with players of similar skills. The number of teams will be determined by the number of players that try out at each age group. There will be 1 A team and as many B teams at each level that are needed. Teams play in the NPLL in North and South Dakota.
The teams will play between 12-18 games depending on the schedule and cancellations.
Registration fees range from $$450 - $600 but are subject to change on varying factors. The individual session and age range will also affect the cost.
Equipment: Just like any sport, you can spend as much or as little as you want. You can start out with basic used equipment from Play-It-Again Sports. Scheels All Sports has new equipment for sale. You can also shop online at sites like lacrossemonkey.com, or lax.com.
Practices are 3-4 nights a week and begin indoors at the Metro Rec Center or the Rustad Recreation Center. Outdoor practices are held at Rendezvous in West Fargo, ND, and Towers Fields in West Fargo, ND.
