For our Stompers members, we now offer training through the Cal Bears.

We are incredibly excited to announce that the UC Berkeley Cal Bears are teaming up with SRVGAL to  create a special high-level four week training clinic.  This is the first of a long partnership with the Golden Bears to bring  their experience and expertise to our girls. This clinic will be taught by Raquel Savoy and will be in intense fielding and hitting curriculum  designed to accelerate the girls' skills to the highest level. This clinic is open to sixth graders and below  and will consist of Wednesday session 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2.  Younger player sessions will run from 3:00-4:30.  Older player sessions will run from 4:45-6:15.  The cost will be $220 for the full clinic.

Unfortunately if your daughter is in seventh grade or higher NCAA rules prevent the Bears from working with them but we have a plan for special clinics at UC Berkeley for those girls later in the season which will comply with NCAA rules.

This is an experience not to be missed so if your daughter plays at a higher level or aspires to and has a great foundation to build on then you should consider this opportunity.

Raquel Savoy is an assistant coach for the Cal Bear softball team.  Prior to this she was an assistant coach at Santa Clara last season where she aided the Broncos' coaching staff with day-to-day operations, as well as infield, hitting and catcher player development. She served as an assistant coach at Chabot College from 2013-17. She has also spent time as an assistant coach at Dominican University, College of Marin and Tennyson High School.  A native of Fremont, CA, Savoy played third base and shortstop at Menlo College finishing her collegiate career in 2012.
