I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. I started my hockey career at the age of 5. I spent my early years of hockey playing with the boy’s teams. I joined the Rochester Edge in 2008 where I spent the next four years developing as a hockey player on and off the ice. I was a member of the 16U State Championship team in 2011 at the girl’s tier 1 level. I spent my final year of youth hockey playing for Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. I had the opportunity to travel overseas with this team and play against top teams in Finland and Russia for a two-week period.

I committed to play college hockey at Plattsburgh State my junior year of high school. These were four of my best years of hockey. Throughout my team at Plattsburgh, we appeared in 4 ECAC play-offs along with 4 appearances in the NCAA top 8 tournament. I received ECAC All Academic throughout my time at Plattsburgh. I had the distinction of not only winning 4 ECAC West titles, but also winning 4 consecutive NCAA National Championships; I became 1 of 5 players who have ever done this in women’s college hockey. I finished my college career with a record of 111-5-4 (2013-2017).

After my college career, I wasn’t ready to be done playing the sport I love. I continued my career by playing professionally in Germany. I spent two years playing in the top league: 1. Frauen Bundesliga in Hannover, Germany. Playing for the Hannover Indians, I led my team in the most goals. I was amongst the top 15 skaters in points for the overall league in both seasons.

My goal is to be able to develop every player on and off the ice to become a better person. I will implement a very competitive, intense, and fun atmosphere within my team. I believe that every player has an important role on a team and will have the chance to make a difference. Skill development is just as important as learning systems. The ability to handle pucks and different skill sets will allow players to become stronger within team systems. The team trumps everything in my philosophy of coaching. I will coach by my moto of being disciplined, selfless, and relentless.
