Southern Marin Lacrosse is a non-profit youth lacrosse organization serving families that live in:

  • Mill Valley
  • Tiburon
  • Corte Madera
  • Sausalito/Marin City
  • Larkspur (served by both Southern Marin & Ross Valley)

For the traditional Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association (NCJLA) season, which takes place during the spring season, the league has adopted guidelines that pertain to geographic boundaries and inter-club transfers.  Below is an overview of the guidelines as it relates to inter-club transfers and geographic boundaries.

Families that live outside of those geographic boundaries and wish to play for SMLC must present a hardship or special circumstance that warrants a transfer to our club from their “home” club.  Ony when the League approves the transfer, will these players be accepted to participate on a SMLC spring team.  An example of a hardship would include a player that goes to school outside of the home region, multiple residence's due to split family situation, no advanve or lower team available, etc..

To support these guidelines, SMLC prohibits its Board Members, Coaches or Members from recruiting players from other clubs.
