- NVWF registration link is only used after a wrestler completed registration payment process with Dulles Youth Sports (DYS) online. DYS covers the charges for each child registered with NVWF so make sure you completed the DYS payment process. 

- NVWF registration does NOT cost any extra money but instead is the league upon which most DYS wrestlers compete through the season.

- NVWF registration contains separate but similar waivers for parents/guardians as the one seen in DYS.

NVWF (age divisions for the winter season 2018-19):

KEY NOTES

- NVWF changed the manner in which it defines the "age groups" as follows

- They take all registrants recorded in the database at Thankgiving Day, and split them all into five groups to be as even as possible. They use the fist day of some month to begin the group and the last day of another month to end the age group.

- In other words, the NVWF tries to even out or level the number of participants in each age division equally thus causing each age division to have a different number of months.

- Wrestlers may "bump up" to compete in the next age division on the same day they compete in their own division if they want to get extra matches to challenge themselves. 

TENTATIVE COMPETITION SCHEDULE:

- Sunday, December 9

- Sunday, December 16

- Sunday, January, 6, 13, 20, 27

- Sunday, February 3, 10 (bye week off Feb 17)

- Saturday/Sunday, February 23/24, Season finals (each age group only goes one day)

COMPETITION LOCATIONS:

- there are two venues each weekend upon which each club attends only one

- locations may be anywhere in the northern VA area (Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Warrenton, Stafford, etc)
