Tewksbury Youth Lacrosse Association-Refund Policy
There will be a FULL refund if the season is cancelled; in the event of
a cancellation mid-season, the cost will be pro-rated related to the
number of games played.
Tewksbury Youth Lacrosse Association has implemented the following refund policy. If you are going to request a refund, please read the information below.
Refund requests must be received in writing or by Registered e-mail to The TYLA-President.
Registration refund requests prior to January 15th** will be Paid in Full less any Fees. (** Unless placed on a Select Team prior to season other fees will apply IE: Uniforms & Registration Fees) these fees are associated with online registration through LeagueAthletics.com.
If a player becomes injured before the season and the player will not be cleared to return to play by the first game, the player can request a refund. In order to be considered for a refund less any non Recoverable Fees, a written Doctor’s report must be submitted to TYLA.
The Board of Directors at its sole discretion will review requests for refunds for season ending injury or family relocation. The Board may also review requests for refunds for other extraordinary circumstances at their sole discretion. All refund requests made in writing to TYLA to be presented to the Board. All requests must have verifiable evidence of injury, relocation or other extraordinary circumstance. If the board does grant a refund, it will be a pro rata portion of the unused fee. No refund requests will be considered past April 1 st of the current season. T.Y.L.A does not issue refunds because of placement concerns. TYLA cannot accommodate specific requests for late registrants -- they will be placed on a team if there is an open slot.
