MYSA Travel Lite Softball
MYSA is now accepting registrations for the summer of 2020 Travel Lite Softball season.
Registration closes on 8/14/2019.
MYSA has the following travel teams Available
8U - Players that will be 8 years old or younger on Jan 1, 2020
10U - Players that will be 10 years old or younger on Jan 1, 2020
12U - Players that will be 12 years old or younger on Jan 1, 2020

. Head coaches will need to be selected before tryouts. We need an 8u, 10u, and 12u head coach. If we decide to do multiple teams in an age group the head coach for these teams will be selected after teams are formed.
Coaches will be interviewed and then selected by the MYSA board.
What does Travel Light Softball entail?
MYSA Travel Light Softball is a more competitive program that puts player skill and development first. Each team typically practices twice a week before games start and once a week after. Most games will be played within 30 minutes of Metamora. Each team will participate in at least 2 tournaments and play between 20-30 games. Each team has the option to participate in a tournament that requires one overnight (the kids love it), but that is up to the coach and parents if they choose to do so. If your daughter loves softball, is looking for a more competitive opportunity than in-house, and/or is wanting more field time than in-house, MYSA Travel Light Softball is a great program for your children.
Cost: $225/player for 8U
$275/player for 10U and 12U
Included: Team pants, jersey, socks, hats and league and tournament fees
Optional Purchases available: Helmet (we ask each player at least have a red helmet), Extra Pants
Extra Hats (adults included), Player Equipment Bag embroidered, Parent and sibling spirit wear.
$125 is due if player is selected to team to hold their roster spot. Due by 9/1/2019 after roster announcement. If payment is not received roster spot will be offered to next player in line.
If a player backs out of their spot after accepting their roster slot the $125 is non-refundable

10U 8/17/2019 9:30-11

Teams will be selected and announced within a week of evaluations.
Practices will begin in April 2020 and games begin in May 2020 and run through mid July 2020.
Where: Evaluations – Black Partridge Park, Metamora
There is no cost to tryout, but if your daughter is selected to a team the player fee must be paid prior to the first practice.
