Roosevelt Roughrider Lacrosse

ASB Club Sport

Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club is funded and managed by RHS LAX families and supporters. Any Roosevelt High School boy or private high school player who lives in the Roosevelt area who is interested in playing lacrosse is welcomed and can expect to play for the club. RHS Lax has both Varsity and JV Teams, so players of all skill levels are welcome.

Management by Volunteers

Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse is run completely by you: the families, friends, and players. All communication is conducted through this web site. Please make sure to sign up on the site to receive information about practices, games, events, volunteer needs and all relevant club information.

Spring Sport

For this year, official practices will begin in mid April and the seaon will run through mid June, with plans for any potential state and conference championships still unclear. The WHSBLA has designated our season to run concurrently with WIAA Season 4. The 1.5 – 2 hr practices are generally Monday – Friday and will generally be at Roosevelt High School.

League Assignment

RHS LAX is playing in the 3A Metro Public League. The Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association is the governing organization. Our in-league competitors include Bainbridge, Ballard, Franklin-Garfield, Nathan Hale and West Seattle.

Grants

RHS LAX would like to thank the US Lacrosse Washington Chapter for the Trainer and Equipment grants that we were awarded this year.
