DYSL was formed in the mid 1980s as an alternative to girls playing baseball.  We have a rich history of dedicated volunteers and are proud of their efforts to educate, mentor, and support the many players who have come through our program and the successes they contributed to on the softball diamond.

In the early 2000s DYSL became an affiliate of Babe Ruth League and operates under its regulations.  We offer softball for players ranging in age from 4-16, and sometimes up to 18.

The league accepts both genders as players but traditionally girls participate almost exclusively. 

Our jurisdiction includes the communities of Dover, Somersworth, Rollinsford, NH  and the Maine communities of Berwick, South Berwick, North Berick and Eliot.  But we will accept players who attend a Dover, NH school in any other communtiy not listed above.
