Westport PAL cheer is open to grades 2nd-8th.  We will field one team of
Bantam and Jr/Sr. These teams will practice together during their two weekly practices on Monday and Friday at Long Lots School in Westport and Friday. Practices are 4-5:00pm. The team will cheer for one PAL basketball game per weekend. (Saturday or Sunday)  We make every effort to cheer for different teams locally throughout the season. (Grades 4-8, boys and girls) The schedule for the cheer season will be released at the beginning of the basketball season, once all games have been scheduled.

Uniforms and Logowear
Uniforms will be provided to all participants. Cheerleaders order their own
warm up jackets and boy shorts.
For the girls to show their team spirit and to help support the program, there are several items available to order from our logowear fundraiser.

Pom Poms, bows and sock packs will be available at the beginning of the
season.
Boy shorts, warm up jacket and spirit wear will be available from ASF
Outdoors.
Medical Forms are needed by the first day of practice or your daughter will not be permitted to participate. Please bring her form to practice and give it
to her coach. If she cheered for Westport PAL in the fall season and her medical form is still valid, you do not need to submit a new one.
Cheerleading is one of the most rewarding sports (YES!! it is a sport!). It can be a great experience for your child. It teaches discipline, strength,
responsibility, accountability, friendship and self worth.

We are so thrilled to be working with your girls this season.

GO WRECKERS!
