The Stealth Coaching staff is a key component to our program's success and player development.  Stealth Lacrosse provides the top coaches in the area at all age levels.  Our coaches have a long history of playing and coaching experience, which they utilize to develop our players.  Not only are coaches highly qualified to educate our players, but they are also great people as well, teaching not only the game but life lessons to our players.  Our coaching staff provides a fun, safe and competitive playing environment for our players while developing each player to be the best player/teammate possible.

Ryan Burton - Founder & Executive Director

Ryan Burton is the founder and executive director of Stealth Lacrosse since 2013.  He was the head coach at Stoneman Douglas High School from 2014-2019 and North Broward Prep from 2009-2013.  Upon his arrival to Parkland, FL, the Eagles were ranked in the top 10 in the state, winning 4 consecutive district championships from 2015-2018.  Ryan earned US Lacrosse South Florida Coach of the Year awards 2x (2015, 2018), Sun Sentinel Coach of the Year awards 2x (2015, 2018), and Miami Herald Coach of the Year in 2018.  Ryan was inducted into the Keuka College Hall of Fame in 2018.  He holds college records for career, season, and individual game statistics.  Ryan was a 5-year starter on varsity at Mynderse Academy High School in his hometown of Seneca Falls, NY.

Nathan Snitz- Coach & Offensive Specialist

Coach Nate has been an active Stealth coach since 2015, operating in a number of roles. Nate is the current Stoneman Douglas HS Head Coach and Florida Atlantic University Offensive Coordinator. Previously he served as the Head Coach at West Boca High School, Westglades MS, and American Heritage Delray MS. Serving as the Head Coach at West Boca High School, he received Coach of the Year honors in 2016. He also won a Gold Medal with the Florida Team at JCC Maccabi Games. Coach Nate has also served as the Director of Lacrosse at Camps Equinunk and Ramah. Nate played college lacrosse at Florida Atlantic University (MCLA DII) (2011-2015) and was a 2x Team Captain, and 3-year starter. Hailing from Winter Garden, FL he graduated from West Orange High School in 2010.

Matt Bellando- Director of High School Girls, Coach Boys/Girls & Offensive Specialist

Matt Bellando played collegiately for both Long Island University Post and Stony Brook University where he amassed 119 goals during his four years including 92 at LIU Post.  At Stony Brook University he helped lead the team to an American East Conference championship in his sophomore season.  At LIU Post he was a two-time All-ECC performer for the Pioneers while also being named the ECC Championship Most Outstanding Player as LIU Post won the ECC Championship in 2016.  A South Florida native, Bellando attended Saint Andrew's School where he was a three-time Palm Beach Post Boy's Lacrosse Player of the Year and three-time Us Lacrosse All-American as the Scot's won three FHSAA State Championships.  He was also named the Florida Dairy Farmer Player of the Year in both 2009 and 2010.  Matt is currently the Varsity Girl's Head Coach at Saint Andrew's High School.  He spent the 2017 season on staff at LIU Post as the offensive coordinator where he created game and practice plans as well as worked with player development.  He was a member of the Florida Launch during the 2017 and 2018 seasons.  Matt was the offensive coordinator for the Palm Beach Atlantic University Men's team for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.  He was the offensive coordinator/goalie coach for the Palm Beach Atlantic University (NCAA DII) Women's team. 

 

Mike Jones-Coach & Goalie Specialist

Mike Jones has been with Stealth Lacrosse since 2016. Coach Jones has served many coaching roles throughout Florida, starting his career at Creekside HS as an Assistant Coach, Matanzas High School Head Coach, Maclay School Head Coach, Ponte Vedra Goalie Coach/Defensive Assistant and currently the Head Assistant Coach at American Heritage Boca-Delray. He won a District Championship and was honored with the 2010 US Lacrosse North Florida Assistant Coach of the Year (Creekside HS). He was honored with a 2013 US Lacrosse North Florida Coach of the Year, 2013-2014 Big Bend Coach of the Year, 2 District Championships, and State semi-finalist participant while serving as the Head Coach at Maclay School. Mike is a Florida native, playing at Flagler Palm Coast High School. As a player, he was a 4-year varsity letterman, 2004-2005 All-District Goalie, 2003-2004 District Champion, and State Semi-Finalist participant.

 

Jerry Balaker-Coach & Goalie Specialist

Coach Balaker is a Long Island native, spending time coaching in Hawaii and the last decade in the South Florida region. He was a 4-year member of the Roanoke College Men's Lacrosse team. In 1996, his team made it to the NCAA quarterfinals. He also was named to the All-Conference Academic team. Jerry has coached college lacrosse at Roanoke College, Kenyon College, Alfred University, and Washington College. Coach Jerry has worked at national goalie camps with legendary coaches Bill Pilat (Roanoke College) and JB Clarke (Limestone College). He’s had coaching stints at Aloha Youth Lacrosse Association in Hawaii, various camps/clinics nationally and in South Florida, and was a goalie coach under Tony Seaman at St. Andrew’s School. He resides in Palm Beach County with his family.

 

Gabriel Keding-Coach & Defensive Specialist

Coach Keding joined the Stealth staff in 2017. Before joining the staff coach played college lacrosse at NCAA Division I Bellarmine University. Gabe was a 2x Southern Conference All-Academic Team.  Coach Keding is originally from Onondaga High School in Syracuse, NY. Gabe was a three-sport athlete, 4-year varsity starter, and 3x captain at Onondaga.  Between his High School and College career coach has competed and played with some of the top talents in the nation. Gabe currently coaches our 2025 team and works with all defensive players.

 

Davis Diamond-Coach & Offensive Specialist

Davis Diamond joins the Stealth Staff in Summer 2021. A Boca Raton/Delray Beach native, lettering four years in lacrosse at Saint Andrews High School (Boca Raton, FL) under US Lacrosse Hall of Fame coach Tony Seaman. He led his teams to consecutive district championships and #1 rankings in the state of Florida in 2016. Davis was a 2x High School All-American in 2015 and 2016. Palm Beach Post and Sun-Sentinel Player of the Year. He finished with 134 goals and 183 assists in High School, including 31 goals and 45 assists as a senior team captain. Davis played NCAA Division I college lacrosse at the University of Albany. In 2018 he led his team to the NCAA DI Final Four and in 2019 Davis made the American East Conference All-Tournament Team. After graduating from the University of Albany Davis has been actively coaching youth lacrosse in South Florida, coaching for Sweetlax/Tampa Snooks, Swordfish, FL Elite, and Snipers.

 

Coach Neil McAdorey

Coach McAdorey is from Setauket, LI where he played for Ward Melville HS. After HS, Coach McAdorey helped found the University of Scranton Lacrosse program and put those skills to work in Parkland in 2005 when he was the first president of the Parkland Redhawks. In 2005 and 2006 McAdorey was the Head JV coach for Stoneman Douglas and in 2007 he moved to Saint Andrews where he was the JV coach through 2012. In 2013 Coach McAdorey returned to Stoneman Douglas where he has been the head Defensive Coach. In addition to coaching HS Lacrosse at SA and MSD, Coach McAdorey has been a fixture on the HS Select Sidelines for: South Florida Select, Boca Whalers, Swordfish, and the Stealth Lacrosse Club. Coach McAdorey has also coached the Maccabi Delegation for South Florida to two silver medals, a bronze medal, and a gold medal and brought the U19 Israeli team to Parkland for friendly scrimmages in 2015 as part of their US tour. Both Coach McAdoreys sons played for the Stealth Program and in College; Ian at Norwich University (NCAA DIII) and Connor at the University of Florida (MCLA DI). Coach McAdorey has been very active in college placement for our Stealth seniors including Florida Southern, USMMA, USNA, University of Tampa, Belmont Abbey, Webber Int., and others. 

 

Coach Evan Kalish-Coach & Defensive Specialist

Coach Kalish joined the Stealth staff in 2019.  Evan is a Florida native from Vero Beach, FL.  He attended a prep school in Maine.  He was awarded 2x MVP for the league and the team. Evan played D1 college lacrosse at Bellarmine University.  At Bellarmine, Evan was a 3-year starter.  Evan was awarded the Hammer Award (Most Aggressive Player Award).  While at Bellarmine, Evan played multiple positions including LSM, close defense, and face-offs with a long pole.  After graduating from Bellarmine, Evan used his last year of eligibility to get his MBA at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL.  At Lynn, Evan was awarded 2nd team SSC defense team along with scholar All-American.  He was also the first player in program history to be in the North and South senior All-Star game.  Beyond college lacrosse, Evan represented Israel on their 40-man roster.

Will Johnston - Coach & Offensive Specialist

Coach Will joined the Stealth staff in 2021.  Will is from Westfield, NJ, where he played lacrosse at Westfield High School.  He attended Clemson University and Florida Atlantic University and later moved permanently to the local South Florida community.  Coach Will has worked as a coach with youth teams in the area for the past seven years and is currently the offensive coordinator for the North Broward Prepratory High School boy's team. 

 

Brian Cost-Coach & Offensive Specialist

Brian Cost joined the Stealth coaching staff in 2018. Prior to joining our program coach Cost coached at Saint Andrew's High School winning 2-State Championships as the Head Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He also spent time coaching for Belen Jesuit HS, University School HS, and Swordfish Lacrosse Club. Brian was a standout lacrosse player, winning 2-High School State Championship for West Genesee High School (New York) and 2-DII NCAA National Championships with LeMoyne College. Both West Genesee HS and LeMoyne College are perennial powerhouse programs with a rich tradition of lacrosse.  Brian was named Most Valuable Player in the 2004 State Championship Game. 

 

Coach Anthony Lofurno

Anthony has been coaching with Stealth Lacrosse since the inception of the program when it arrived at the Coral Springs / Parkland area in 2012. In that time, he has coached teams at all levels from U9 through the High School levels. He is currently an Assistant Coach for the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team, along with an Assistant Coach for the Stealth 2027 team. Prior to that, he was an Assistant on the Stealth 2026 team. He also served for 6 years as an Assistant Defensive Coach for the nationally-ranked Florida Select 2022 team. Prior to that, he served as President of the Coral Springs Chiefs from 2013 to 2018. Anthony has served as a Coach for the Parkland Redhawks from 2018 thru 2020. He was also a founding member of SoFlo Lacrosse and SoFlo Box Lacrosse. Anthony's roots are on the ice, as a hockey player who moved to Florida, he found a shortage of ice time, Anthony found his way to lacrosse in High School where he fell in love with the game. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1995, he continued to play hockey and lacrosse in Coral Springs  While he no longer actively plays Ice Hockey, he still occasionally laces up with the Buzzards Men’s Lacrosse Team on Sundays.

 

Coach Jeremy Reiter

Coach Jeremy started his lacrosse career in 2004 through the Boca jets. Jeremy was a standout at Spanish River High school where he earned all-district defenseman and led the team in forced turnovers his senior year (2012). Jeremy played at and graduated from FAU (MCLA DII) where he was a captain and leader of the defense. Jeremy began his coaching career at Spanish River in 2013 as a Defensive Coordinator and JV Head Coach. In 2018 Jeremy became the Defensive Coordinator at West Boca. in 2019 Jeremy became a Defensive assistant and Head JV coach at Stoneman Douglas. Currently, Coach Jeremy is in his 3rd season with Stoneman Douglas. Jeremy has also been a member of the Stealth Coaching staff since 2019 coaching the U11 teams and operating as a defensive specialist. He also serves as the U14 Redhawks Head Coach.

 

Coach Reed Smith

Coach Reed joined the Stealth Coaching Staff in 2019. Coach Reed is a current Parkland Redhawks youth coach. me. He found his niche sharing his experience with the next generation of athletes and gets tremendous joy from sharing the fundamentals of the Lacrosse game focusing on stick work and positioning basics. He grew up playing lacrosse in Annapolis Maryland. 

 

Coach Jonathan Cox

Coach Jonathan has been with Stealth since 2016. A graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Jonathan was a 4-year varsity player and an integral 2-way midfielder. Coach Jonathan got his start coaching as the Head Coach at West Glades MS. Jonathan works primarily with the youth players in our program.

 

 

Coach Max Ainbinder

Coach Ainbinder joined the Stealth Staff in 2019. Before joining the staff, Coach Ainbinder coached several travel programs, as well as conducted personal training sessions with young aspiring athletes. During his high school career, coach Ainbinder was a three-sport varsity athlete and a standout lacrosse player for Vero Beach High School. Coach Ainbinder was a three-year starter and captain, achieving all-district honors 2 years in a row.

Coach Joey Zammataro

Coach Joey Zammataro is a native to the South Florida region, playing High School lacrosse at Park Vista High School and he is a current member of the Florida Atlantic University team.  Joey was a captain at Park Vista High School and led the team to a school record of 12-2 in 2017.  Coach is a current captain of the men's FAU lacrosse team, and he helped his team to an undefeated 7-0 record prior to the covid-19 shortened season.  He earned all-conference defenseman honors with 31 groundballs and 42 forced turnovers.  Joey studies marine engineering at FAU and carries a 3.2 GPA.  Joey currently coaches our U8 players, helping them develop their lacrosse skills.

Coach Kacie Anderson - Director of Girls Lacrosse 

After a career-ending injury, Anderson decided to focus on coaching competitively in South Florida & Maryland.  Anderson started Women's lacrosse at Calvary Christian Academy in 2013.  Anderson also coached Varsity Girls Basketball at the same time and won CCA's first-ever District Championship.  Kacie tabbed Coach of the Year in 2014 for Girls Basketball.  Kacie stopped coaching basketball to build the sport of lacrosse at the school.  During Calvary's 2021 lacrosse spring season, Anderson took a team that was ranked 388th nationally and brought them to 54th ranking in the Nation, drawing in top recruits.

During the off-season, Anderson would coach 2nd-5th grade as well to develop young talent.  In 2019, Kacie and Drew Anderson founded Splash Lacrosse and trained 2nd-12th grade year-round in Fort Lauderdale.  Splash Youth started playing competitively around South Florida in 2020.  Anderson is excited to partner with Stealth Lacrosse to offer more opportunities to youth, middle school, and high school players and better prepare them for the next level.

Kacie is married to Drew Anderson and has two children, Parker and Piper.  During the day, Kacie works at Nationwide Mortgage under The Max Fisch Team, who is ranked in the Top 1% in the Nation for Mortgage Brokerages and Top 3 in the state of Florida.

Before coaching, Kacie played Division I Women's Lacrosse at Liberty University.  The Big South Presidential Honor Roll at Liberty University each year.  Kacie set the NCAA single-season record for draw controls in 2011 & 2012.  In 2011, the midfielder recorded 41 goals, 29 assists, 79 draw controls, 31 ground balls, and 21 caused turnovers.  Kacie was chosen for the all-tournament team following the conclusion of the NLC tournament and named All NLC Tournament Player of the Year in 2011 & 2012.  Anderson also volunteered time to be a prayer leader for Liberty's student leadership and mentor college peers.

In High School, Kacie was an Under Armour All American.  Totaled 152 goals, 112 assists, 109 ground balls, and 180 draw controls over her high school career.  Anderson played goalie and midfield widening her lacrosse IQ and field awareness. 2x State Champion. 2x County Champion lacrosse, 2x Region Champion, and 1x County Champion for basketball.  First Team All-County player for lacrosse and basketball.  Anderson was going to play Division I basketball but decided to play Division I lacrosse instead. 

Coach Kristina Stein

Kristina Stein, Coach K, is the Girls Varsity Head Coach for Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida.  She has been Head Coach at Stoneman Douglas since 2019  Before that she served as Assistant Coach at Saint Thomas Aquinas HS for 3 years going to the State Championship in 2017.  Coach K has been active for many years as a youth and high school girls lacrosse coach.  She was named Sun Sentinel's Coach of the Year in 2021 and USA Lacrosse Coach of the Year for 2021.

Coach Anna Myers

Anna is originally from Hopewell Junction, NY. In high school, she played for Hackley School (Westchester, NY) where she helped lead the team to two NYASIS championships. She went on to play at Haverford College ('20) where she was a captain and four-year starter. She was a recipient of the Gregory Kannerstein ’63 Award for leadership, was named to the All-Centennial Conference Team (x2), the All-Metro Region Team (x2), and was an IWLCA D3 All American. After graduating from Haverford in 2020, she moved to South Florida where she has been training high school athletes in the area and coaching for The Lacrosse Warehouse.

Coach Jordyn Lagrega

Coach Jordyn played lacrosse at Keiser University as a defender playing in every game. Coach LaGrega is originally from Bellport, NY. Coach was a 3-year varsity starter for Bellport High School and one-year varsity starter for St. John the Baptist High School on Long Island. Jordyn was also involved for 3 years with Suffolk County Girls Lacrosse Julia Nofi Jamboree where they hosted 3,000+ young lacrosse players in Bellport for charity. Coach was also a personal trainer at a 9-rounds kickboxing gym. Jordyn currently coaches for the Stoneman Douglas Girls Varsity lacrosse team and attends FAU as an exercise science health promotion and education major.
