COACH PROFILES
Mike Adamek,PCIM Director of Hockey Operations
Mike has been involved in hockey for over 25 years. His playing career included: 4 years at NCAA Division 1 Lake Superior State in Michigan, 4 years of Junior A hockey in the USHL and NAHL and nearly 100 professional games with the Boise Steelheads, Utah Grizzlies and Tulsa Oilers. Mike has a passion for coaching youth hockey and has been coaching at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels for over 10 years.
Mike was head coach for the 16U Tier 2 team and head coach for the 10U Travel team during the 2021-2022 season.

Tom Anderson, PCIM Director of Player Development
Tom Anderson was born and raised in Brighton, MI. He started playing hockey when he was 4 years old. In high school, Tom had the honor of being named to the all-state team and representing Team Michigan for two years. In addition, he played as Captain on his Brighton High School team in Michigan which won the D1 State championships.
Tom played for the Fargo Moorhead Jets (NAHL) for a year and was Head Stick Handling Coach for Competitive Edge Skating in Michigan.
Tom has a total of 16 years as a private instructor in Michigan and Utah. He has been with the PC Ice Miners for seven years as head coach of 12U and 14U teams.
Tom was co-head coach for the 14U Tier 2 team during the 2022-2023 season.

George Chalos, PCIM Board Member
Originally from Oyster Bay, NY, George was a member of the University of Vermont men’s hockey team. While attending law school, he worked for the New Jersey Rock-n-Rollers and Long Island Jawz professional roller hockey organizations. George coached and was a Board member for the Long Island Gulls Tier I youth hockey organization for 19 years before founding the Sharks Elite Hockey Club in 2011. He was also the Head Coach and General Manager for the Junior Islanders and NY Bobcats junior hockey teams before acquiring the Long Beach Sharks (NA3HL) junior hockey club in 2017 where he serves as the President and Director of Hockey Operations.
Locally, George is the associate coach for the University of Utah Men’s D-1 hockey, is a PCIM Board member, and the director of the Park City Sharks Elite programs.
In addition, George is the founder of the Next Shift Youth Sports Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, geared towards raising funds to provide young athletes in need with athletic and academic scholarship opportunities.
George was head coach for the 14U D1 team during the 2021-2022 season.
