Marlboro Youth Soccer has decided to limit our in town offering to Kindergarten and above at this time. However, we are partnering with Forekicks in Marlboro for and will look to offer a Little Kickers program for Marlboro residents if there is enough demand.
Kindergarten Spring 2021
This Program needs 3-5 Volunteers / ~30 players to run. Please choose an option when registering!
Coach In Training --> Up to 4 per Session. Be paired with a Bolts Coach to learn Kindergarten Soccer
Team Coordinator --> 1 Per session to assist with attendance and any sideline / facility / government guidelines.
The hope is to create the following program:
This is an IN TOWN Program / NO TRAVEL
Expect 1 Session a week for 10 weeks
Each Clinic Session will be capped at 32 and divided into 4 "Teams". Additional Clinic Sessions may be added to meet demand.
Clinic Sessions will occur on Friday Evening and/or Saturday mornings.
Each Player receives a Jersey and a Ball. Players must provide soccer cleats, soccer socks, and shin guards.
Goals for the Program:
Provide entry level introduction into soccer for young players
Provide entry level coaching instruction for parent coaches
Focus primarily on ball control and dribbling in small numbers
Focus on a ball at each players feet as much as possible
Focus on excitement when doing a “move” or putting the ball in the “net”
Include a small 15 minute “game” each session. Games are 3v3 / 4v4
Grade 1&2 Spring 2021
