COVID-19 Play Guidelines

 

PLAY IS 100% VOLUNTARY FOR ALL

 

The below Guidelines may be altered, suspended or canceled at any time deemed necessary by Stuart Lacrosse.  Stuart Lacrosse reserves the right to deny entry and/or participation to anyone not in compliance with the below referenced guidelines or additional directives.

 

Club Guidelines

PLAY IS 100% VOLUNTARY FOR ALL

  • Required face masks for staff, coaches, referees and designated adults serving as hygiene support for all practices and activities. Athletes may wear a face mask during lacrosse activity. Face coverings should cover nose and mouth.
  • Player registration will be contactless and cash-less.
  • Guy Davis Field Entrances & Exits = East & North Gates
  • The club will set up a “station” for hand sanitizing before, during and after activity. The station will have sanitary wipes and hand sanitizer on hand during all practices and games.
  • Personal belongings of players are to be placed by that player in a designated area assigned by the coach maintaining no less than 6 feet of distance as best as possible.
  • ** Stay Home if you feel sick, if a member of your family has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you or a member of your family are awaiting test results or an appointment to be tested for COVID-19**
  • Parents/spectators are to take theirs and their player's temperature before coming to any lacrosse activities. Anyone with a temperature of 100.3 degrees or more ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND LACROSSE ACTIVITIES until evaluated by a licensed medical professional and provide written medical clearance to our Club to participate/return.
  • The Club reserves the right to refuse entrance to anyone it feels may have or has been exposed to any illness including COVID-19.
  • Club will notify the Health Department, players, families, the staff, and City point of contact in case they become aware of someone experiencing symptoms, is sick with the virus, or is exposed to the virus.
  • Club will train coaches, officials, and staff on all safety protocols.  Conduct training virtually, or ensure that social distancing is maintained during training.

 

Parent/Spectator Guidelines

PLAY IS 100% VOLUNTARY FOR ALL

  • Wear a cloth face covering that covers your nose and mouth in public settings. Masks are required if you are outside of your car anywhere on Guy Davis property (including parking lots, fields, and bathrooms).
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from non-household members.
  • Players and spectators need to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their scheduled activity and to plan to depart the facility no longer than 15 minutes after the activity concludes.
  • No spitting, chewing sunflower seeds, or any other activity that requires the act of spitting is permitted.

 

Player/Coach/Referee/Designated Adults Guidelines

PLAY IS 100% VOLUNTARY FOR ALL

  • All players MUST complete an online registration @ www.StuartLacrosse.com. No Walk-Up Registrations allowed.
  • Required face masks for staff, coaches, referees, and designated adults serving as hygiene support for all practices and activities. Athletes may wear a face mask during lacrosse activity. Face coverings should cover the nose and mouth.
  • Players are to arrive dressed and ready to practice/play.
  • Players must bring their own water supply (bring more than you think you’ll need!)
  • Club will not provide any water and facility water fountains will be off-limits.
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from non-household members.
  • No huddles; no pre-or post-activity in-person meetings.
  • No handshakes, high-fives, fist-bumps, or skin-to-skin contact.
  • COVID-19 positive coaches, staff members, officials, or players should not return until they have met CDC’s criteria to discontinue home isolation.
  • Players and spectators need to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their scheduled activity and to plan to depart the facility no longer than 15 minutes after the activity concludes.
  • Minimize the use of bathrooms. Bathrooms are a “1 at a time” usage.
  • Eat off-site. Bring your own water bottle.
  • No spitting, chewing sunflower seeds, or any other activity that requires the act of spitting is permitted.
