NEW MILFORD YOUTH LACROSSE PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
 
Bantams – Grades K-2
Season – March - June
Practices – Practices typically begin indoors at CSA in March. Once the weather permits practices are held twice a week, typically Tuesday and Thursday. 
Games – A limited number of games are scheduled once players have developed the skills to allow them to successfully compete. Game are scheduled against local town programs on the weekend. Typically, players will play 8-10 games at this level.
 
 
Lightning – Grades 3 and 4
Season – March - June
Practices – Practices typically begin indoors at CSA in March. Once the weather permits practices are held twice a week, typically Tuesday and Thursday.
Games – Games are typically scheduled on the weekend with an occasional weekday game. Games are scheduled on Saturday and/or Sunday against local town teams. Typically, players will play 10-14 games at this level and will have the opportunity to play in 1 or 2 local tournaments (ie Brookfield Icebreakers Tournament in March/April, CONNY Tournament at Yale in June.)
 
Junior – Grades 5 and 6 
Season – March - June

Boys – Helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, cup, cleats, and stick
Girls – Goggles, mouth guard, cleats, and stick
